City of Chipley Position: Code Enforcement/Planning Officer

The City of Chipley is accepting applications for a Code Enforcement/Planning Officer.

Minimum Qualifications: Thorough knowledge of the fundamental principles and practices applicable to City Planning; ability to collect, analyze and interpret planning and design/development data; ability to interpret federal, state and municipal laws, regulations, ordinances and guidelines and make necessary recommendations in compliance therewith; and perform basic graphics work including preparation of maps, illustrations, charts and diagrams.

Education and Experience: Graduation from High School and five (5) years experience in plans examination, code enforcement, or similar duties involving municipal land use planning and zoning issues.

Licenses, Certifications or Registrations: Code Enforcement Certification preferable; applicant must possess a valid State of Florida Drivers License.
