In the top tier of retirement communities in the nation, Frasier is an independent, non-profit 501(c)(3), mission-driven, CARF accredited home to a vibrant community of nearly 450 residents. As befits a Life Plan Community in an active city like Boulder, CO, Frasier has a remarkable group of residents who have chosen Frasier as the base for a retirement that is active physically, intellectually, and socially, including many retired professors and staff from the University of Colorado. This VP will play a major leadership role as Frasier continues to grow our programs and offerings both inside and beyond our campus, implementing innovative methods to create community, and building on our culture of excellence.
The Vice President for Operations will oversee Frasier's Independent Living facilities, programs, and staff, leading Frasier's focus on wellness and community engagement, supervising 7 program directors who supervise 180+ staff and managing 35% of Frasier's nearly $38M budget. These program areas include Community Life, Dining Services, the Wellness Center, Pastoral Care, Resident Services, Facilities and Environmental Services. In addition to leading this strong team of managers, the VPO serves as part of an unusually experienced, collaborative and fun executive leadership team that guides the community as we seek to be the best that we can be.

The ideal candidate will meet the following qualifications:
- Commitment to the mission, vision and values of Frasier
- A Bachelor's degree in wellness or health-related field is required, Master's degree preferred
- 5+ years of experience as a mid to senior-level manager and leader, preferably in a Life Plan Community or related health services environment, including oversight of multiple departments or functions
- Experience and demonstrated effectiveness as a supervisor and director of staff
- Demonstrated commitment to high professional and ethical standards
- A demonstrated collaborative style and team orientation
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills to establish rapport with all levels of personnel, management, and outside contacts
- Knowledge and competency with Microsoft Office Suite is required
