Director of Compliance and Clinical Strategies
HopeTree Family Services is seeking an experienced and dedicated leader to serve as the Director of Compliance and Clinical Strategies at the Salem, VA location. This position will have the supervisory responsibility for all the agency’s corporate and program Compliance, Risk Management, Quality Assurance, HIPAA, and Clinical Outcomes Program. Position will also oversee HopeTree’s accreditation process and relationship with our accrediting body.
Position requires a minimum of a master’s degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in the field of Social Work or related field. Must be a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). Preference is for candidate to be a Certified HIPAA Professional (CHP). Candidates without certification must be able to obtain certification within six months of employment. A minimum of 10 years’ experience in human services field and in providing licensure supervision is required.
Additional responsibilities will include:
· Creating, implementing, and overseeing agency-wide Compliance and QA program to include internal audits and training. |
· Overseeing CARF accreditation, ensuring compliance, and serving as the chief spokesperson on behalf of the agency. · Developing clinical or program outcomes and KPI’s with each program to report quarterly and annually. · Serving as HopeTree’s Privacy Officer. · Serving as HopeTree’s HIPAA Officer and expert, working with agency and program leadership on the unique HIPAA requirements. · Reading and understanding the regulations of all HopeTree’s programs. · Serving as a licensing liaison with licensing bodies and compiling all the licenses into one location for all HopeTree programs. · Creating and overseeing a consistent internal investigation policy and program for all services. · Researching and working with program leaders on Evidence-Based Practices and providing guidance to administration on which programs to implement. · Conducting an annual risk assessment for HopeTree, and providing recommendations for training, new forms, etc. · Serving as the lead on corporate compliance to include drafting and updating policy, conducting training when appropriate, organizing response to fraud, waste, abuse, and other wrong doings. |
