Human Resources Assistant

HRHCare is currently seeking a Human Resources Assistant to work in the Human Resources Department to join our team at HRHCare's Executive office in Peekskill. The Human Resources Assistant is responsible for coordinating office operations and procedures while championing organizational efficiency not only within the Talent Acquisition scope, but across the full HR department function. The Human Resources Assistant takes adept and enthusiastic ownership of wearing multiple hats. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Provide administrative support to the Director of Talent Acquisition and Talent Acquisition team across all regions
- Schedule interviews, tracks and reports candidate interview feedback and manages the candidate’s progression through the hiring process
- Coordinate all background checks and other pre-employment tests as necessary
- Prepare orientation packets and assists Talent team with New hire Orientation
- Data entry of e-Verify and scanning of new hire packets
- Follow-up with licensed professionals to ensure all license information and certifications are up-to-date
- Answer phones for the HR department
- Management of electronic HR Inbox, including emails and any faxes received
- Other administrative duties as assigned
MUST BE:

- Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and switch from one task to another with ease
- Able to work well in a team environment, be self-motivated, and work with little direct supervision
- Comfortable speaking and presenting in front of groups of employees.
- A strategic liaison between their office and HQ departments including HR, Special Events, Communications, and Talent Acquisition
- Comfortable rapidly gaining and applying knowledge, and take pride in impacting all aspects of the business
- Efficient in MS Office programs
- Experience using Applicant Tracking Software, Oracle and document management system, Docuware is a plus!

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Employee will be required to stand for periods of times when assisting with New hire Orientation
- Must be able to lift 10lbs
- Employee will be required to reach with hands and arms to file and store office supplies
Minimum Education Requirement: Associate's Degree
Preferred Education Requirement: Bachelor's Degree
Minimum Work-Related Experience: 2-3 years of experience in office setting or administrative role
Preferred Work-Related Experience: 3-5 years
