Your role
You will be responsible for providing support to the senior team on communications programs for Hunt & Gather clients with a focus on brand campaigns, initiatives, and brand positioning. You will
play a critical role within the team by managing Account Coordinators and ensuring high quality and accurate work is completed on time and delivered to the Account Manager & Account Director.
Your responsibilities
Develop and maintain productive relationships with clients.
Develop and maintain an understanding of the media landscape, forging relationships with relevant editors, reporters, bloggers and influencers.
Develop and maintain relationships with relevant third party suppliers.
Demonstrate proactive problem-solving around client and team requests.
Assist in the development of public relations and social media strategies and coordinate team efforts to implement them.
Draft and deploy pitches, press materials and / or client briefing documents with minimal amends.
Manage Account Coordinators and to ensure high quality and accurate work is completed, while also teaching and coaching.
Draft simple documents for clients including different styles of copy such as executive backgrounders and weekly reports.
Thorough research around a variety of client needs including competitive research, news monitoring and tracking.
Attend client meetings when asked by your VP and take detailed notes of agreed upon actions.
Provide your team with regular updates demonstrating your ability to articulate progress on projects.
Support event partnership, activation and execution as required.
Be proactive and innovative in your approach to client services.
Assist with the implementation of best practices and standard operating procedures for Hunt & Gather.
Your skills & experience
2-3 years of communications and/or PR experience, including time spent in an agency.
A bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in PR, marketing, communications or a relevant.
arts and humanities subject.
Strong interpersonal, organizational and management skills and a willingness to learn.
Ability to work quickly and exhibit strong judgment.
Demonstrate confidence and excellent verbal skills when explaining a simple idea to a client or member of the team.
