CARDIOLOGY HOSPITALIST AND/OR NOCTURNIST POSITION
The Division of Cardiology, Department of Medicine, University of Washington School of Medicine and Regional Heart Center is seeking a full time physician for a Hospitalist and/or Nocturnist position at the UW Medical Center. Successful candidates will be strong clinicians with an interest in general cardiology. The minimum requirements for this position are as follows: MD degree or foreign equivalent and be board certified/eligible in internal medicine or cardiovascular diseases or foreign equivalent. In order to be eligible for University sponsorship for an H-1B visa, graduates of foreign (non-US) medical schools must show successful completion of all three steps of the U.S. Medical Licensing Exam (USMLE), or equivalent as determined by the Secretary of Health and Human Services. The successful applicant will be appointed to the full-time (100% FTE) faculty at the University of Washington at the Clinical Instructor (Job Class Code: 10168) or Clinical Assistant Professor (Job Class Code: 10167) level without tenure due to funding, commensurate with qualifications. This is a 12 month, annual appointment.
